1. What do I get for an Individual Players Package ($825 Member - $875 Non-Member)?
An Individual Players Gift Package ($250 value), VIP Parking, Entry to the Silent and Live Auction on Sunday, Breakfast, Golf Tournament, Meet the Celebrity Guests, Photos with the Celebrity Guests, Exhibition, Skins Game, Awards Reception on Monday.
2. What do I get for a Patron Package ($40 Member - $45 Non-Member)?
Preferred Parking (limited availability awarded in order of sign-up), Entry to the Silent and Live Auction on Sunday, Viewing Golf Tournament, Celebrity Exhibition, Skins Game, and an opportunity to attend the Awards Reception on Monday for an additional fee of $25.00.
3. Will there be Food and Beverage at each of the Receptions?
On Sunday night, Appetizers and Hors D'oeuvre with an Open Bar. On Monday night, a Reception with Culinary Stations and an Open Bar.
4. How many Players will be in the Golf Tournament?
Field will be limited to approximately 120 players including sponsors. Anyone who is interested in playing is highly encouraged to reserve a spot as soon as possible, as the tournament will sell out.
5. How can I meet the Celebrity Guests?
If you are playing you are guaranteed to meet the Celebrity Guests during your round. If you are a Patron Participant you might have an opportunity at the Silent and Live Auction Event. Otherwise, there is no guarantee.
6. Is the Club closed on Sunday and Monday?
No, the Club will be open for business as usual on Sunday with the exception of the Banks Course closing at 3:00pm. On Monday, the Palmer Course will be open until 1:00pm and the Banks Course will be closed all day with the Clubhouse and Tartan Grille being open as usual for Members.
7. How much does it cost for a Forsgate Member to watch the Skins Game?
Nothing. A complimentary pass will be mailed to every Forsgate Member to view as Gallery Participants.
8. How is Parking being handled?
If you are Playing you are guaranteed parking in the golf parking lot. If you are a Patron Participant you might be offered preferred club parking, however, it is limited (first come first serve). Otherwise, alternate parking will be set up and there will be parking attendants on Monday to assist you in the alternate schemes.
9. Why are we doing this Event?
For the Members and their guests of Forsgate, the Charity – Special Olympics New Jersey and the start of a long term tradition at the Club.
10. Will there be volunteers needed for this Event?
Yes, a pool of volunteers will be needed. In the past Forsgate Members have given their time for events like this. At a time in the near future there will be correspondence sent to Members on how you can become a volunteer. If there are a high number of people applying to be volunteers a lottery will be conducted.
11. What is the format of the Skins Game?
The format will be 9 Holes on the Banks Course. Chi Chi Rodriguez and Peter Jacobsen and playing partners will be competing for $1,000 per hole in the Bud Light Skins Game. The fairways will be roped off; players wired so all of their comments are heard during the match in a ‘Gallery Style’ format. The two celebrities will have teammates that are part of the event!
